Show-Stopping Signage Solutions
Video Description:

We were at PacPrint 2025 this year and one thing was crystal clear: today’s customers want more from their signage.
More creativity. More customisation. More wow.
From lightboxes with integrated backlighting to bold mixed-material builds and ingenious mounting solutions, signage is no longer just informative – it’s art, it’s architecture, it’s impact.
That’s where O’Brien Engineering steps in. With over 300 specialty materials on hand and a factory full of precision machines, we help signage pros bring even the wildest ideas to life.

Hey guys, Luke from O’Brien’s here.
A lot of you might have tuned in to one of our earlier videos showing the process involved in fabricating a sign like this. Well, here’s the finished product – it’s now been powder-coated and fully assembled.
The process for us started with flat sheet material – 2mm aluminium. We laser-cut everything precisely, using different machines and making sure all the offsets were spot-on. When it came to cutting the acrylic, we allowed for post-powder-coating tolerances so everything press-fits perfectly.
You’ll notice the beautiful finish on both the acrylic and the stainless, and those critical offsets – right down to how we’ve cut and folded the joints – ensure a perfect fit and make for a very easy installation.
Now, while this is a smaller box – just 500 x 340mm – we can actually process sheets up to 3 metres by 1.5 metres. So, theoretically, if you need a lightbox or a frame, we can go as large as 3 metres in length.
This particular one is designed to be used at trade shows as a sample piece – but the process is the same regardless of size. Whether it’s 600mm long or 2.6 metres, we cut, fold, weld, and apply the same precision and finish quality every time.
