The story began in the early 1960s, when founder Alan O’Brien, a toolmaker by trade, started manufacturing trophy plates and plaques. From those early beginnings, O’Brien Engineering grew into one of Australia’s largest suppliers of trophy plates, plaques and shields, serving engravers, trophy shops, sporting clubs, schools and awards businesses across the country.
